EZ-Pilot Pro utilizes the same Cabling and motor setup as APMD


Autopilot Motor Drive and EZ-Pilot Pro are electric Motor Drive guidance systems that use the same motor, interface hardware, and cabling. They use separate guidance licenses to differentiate between the features offered with each system.


Autopilot Motor Drive uses the same Autopilot Guidance license (P/N 96552-10) as Autopilot with a hydraulic valve or a CAN machine and offers the same guidance features. EZ-Pilot Pro utilizes the same motor, interface hardware, and cabling, but with a more economic guidance license and the features listed below:


EZ-Pilot Pro

Continuous operation at or above 1 mph (1.6 kph)

Remain engaged for 15 seconds below 1 mph (1.6 kph) while still making steering corrections down to 0.5 mph (0.8 kph).

Reverse capability allowed during the 15 second time interval.

45 degree engagement angle to the line

Engagement up to ¼ swath width away from the line

Same maximum engage and operation speeds as Autopilot Motor Drive

Aftermarket Guidance system installations will use APMD/EZPP base kit P/N 185000-105. Installations on Trimble Ready machines will use APMD/EZPP base kit P/N 185000-03 (this kit includes the SAM-200 to SAM-300 adapter cable to ensure compatibility).


EZ-Pilot Pro with a NAV-500 guidance controller requires an external IMD-900 (P/N 57407-06) to be installed for improved inertial data. The NAV-500 is not compatible with AutoPilot Motor Drive.


The EZ-Steer/EZ-Pilot License (P/N 96552-30) is intended for use to upgrade existing EZ-Pilot installations using Trimble legacy displays to the current generation of display architecture. The combination of this license and adapter cable (P/N 119793) will allow a GFX Series display and NAV-900/NAV-500 to connect to a previously installed EZ-Pilot guidance system.


The SAM-300 motor is NOT compatible with EZ-Pilot systems. It is only compatible with EZ-Pilot Pro and Autopilot Motor Drive.

Notes:
• Guidance licenses will stay in the NAV-500 or NAV-900 even if it is combined with other displays or components in future.
• EZ Pilot Pro does not support the NextSwath functionality

Platform Kit, AGCO Challenger MT900C Series Using ISO Bus Interface

This license enables the use of the True Guide implement steering system.
Passive implement guidance system that monitors and corrects the position of your implement by moving the tractor.
Requires a GNSS antenna on your implement and Autopilot™ system and the TMX-2050® or XCN-2050® display in your tractor
Will also require an Ag815 Radio with 2nd GNSS capability and 2nd GNSS license.

This license enables Trimble® Next Swath™ End-of-Row Turn Technology on the TMX-2050® or XCN-2050® display

Trimble NextSwath™ uses end-of-row turn technology to automatically calculate and execute the best possible path to turn around a vehicle and approach the next crop row or swath with the implement precisely aligned to begin working.

•Works with Autopilot Guidance options including, Hydraulic, CAN steer and APMD (Autopilot Motor Drive)

The Trimble® TMX-2050™ display with FmX® Plus and Precision-IQ™ license bundle comes standard with the FmX Plus & Precision-IQ app, basic GNSS W/GLONASS and is Auto Guidance capable.

The display will ship with a recent firmware version, but as firmware is constantly updated, check partners for the latest and for information on what features are supported in various versions.

The AG-815 radio plugs into the TM-200 module and can be installed in the field.

The AG-815 integrated radio comes in various configurations of Radio, Radio and 2nd GNSS receiver, and Receiver only.
